MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD

Mathematical Olympiad is a competition for high school and elementary school students. It is organized by Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with Union of Slovak Mathematicians and Physicists (JSMF) and Slovak Committee of Mathematical Olympiad (SKMO) (see Rules of Organization of MO). The competition is directed by SKMO. In regions, it is governed by regional committees of MO and branches of JSMF. In schools, the teachers of mathematics organize the competition.

New process for IMO and MEMO qualification

We bring to your attention the new process for selecting teams for international competitions. Not only the result from the national round, but also from the qualifying rounds taking place before the national round will be important when advancing to the selection camp.
